- Have students review the alphabet.

- Ask students to say the letter and the sound “i”.

Draws a fig on the board and asks “ What’s this ?”

 - Write the word “dig” under the picture and explain for students repeat “dig”

- Show the picture “ big” on the board, read , have students repeat.

- Introduce some food by using pictures.
- Have the class repeat: : cheese , chicken , fish , juice , potato , rice , salad , soup

- Play the recording for students to listen all the way through.
- Play the rocording, pause after each word for students to point to the pictures on their books.
- Replay, pause after each word for students to repeat.
