Show the picture of the Bike in Textbook page 47 and ask: - What do you see in the picture? - How many people do you see in the picture? - What are they doing? - Can you guess where are they from? - They are from Egypt. -. Welcome to Egypt. (Ai cap) 2. Stick the word Egypt: on the board and teach students to pronounce. 3. Teach new words: - Show a teddy bear and a doll. - Write teddy bear and doll on the board and ask Ss to give them an English name. - Play CD, activity 1, have Ss to listen, point to the book then repeat. - Point to the doll and say She is a doll. Then put the picture and word of Doll on the board, have Ss to speak aloud a doll. - Present playing computer game And have Ss to guess the thing in picture 2. + What am I doing? + So what is this? + Do you like playing computer game? - Then say It’s a computer game. Then put the picture and word of computer game on the board, Have Ss to speak aloud computer game. - Go on with other toys. - Have Ss to look at the picture and tell the teacher which toy they like the best. - Play the CD and ask Ss to point. Activity 3: Students’ practice(15’) Mode : T↔Ss individual Materials: flashcards 1. - Play CD, activity 1, have Ss to listen, point to the book then repeat. - Stick the flashcards of toys next to their words because Ss know the toys already so now you should teach them how the toys are spelled, I mean its word. - Point to each toy and ask students read louder - Call each toy and each group read again 2 - Play Guessing Game: - Divide the class into 2 groups: Red and Black. - Make sample: Act like a robot and have Ss to call out the word robot - Call one student go to the board and act a toy then have one child from The group to guess and call out the toy, if he/she is right, give his/her group one star. - Then have the whole class to repeat that word. - Go on with other toys. 3. Activity 2 in Student’s Book: Play The Best Ears Game. - Write doll and teddy bear on the board. Show one of the toys and ask a S to circle the correct word. Then have the children listen and circle the correct answer in Activity 2. - Answer: 1 kite, 2 robot, 3 computer game, 4 bike. 4. Draw a toy. Then ask and answer with a friend. - Have them draw and color six pairs of toys, putting two toys on one card. - Ask the Ss to look at the boy’s drawing in their book. - Read the questions and encourage the Ss to answer: In groups, have children ask the question. Then have other S in group guess what other toys have been drawn. 1 - Listen to the CD, point to the book then repeat.
