Greeting

- Have students sing

- Review the alphabet

 Ask students to say the letter and the sound: “ s” , “h” , say some words with them.

- Show the picture “ Sheep” on the board, read , have students repeat.

- Call some students repeat.

- Write the word “sheep” under the picture and explain for students to know the sound /s/.

 - Repeat steps with “ shoes” and

“ fish”.

- Have stusents repeat several times.

- Write the words: sheep, shoes, fish on the board. Ask one students go to the board underline “sh” and pronounce it.

- Ask students to open their book on page 18.

- Have students look at the “sh” on their books. Write the “sh” on the air.

- Introduce the song about the sounds “sh”.

- Play the recording for students to listen all the way through.

- Play the rocording, pause after each line for students to repeat.

- Ask students to sing and point to the letters and the words on their books.

- Have students sing several times.

- Ask students to look at the picture on the bottom of 18.

- Say the words “ sheep, shoes, fish” in random.

- Ask students to review the words and patterns they have just learnt, repare the next part ( page 19).
