- T sticks pictures of means of transport on the b.b
- T gives the rules, checks.
- T chooses players, divides them into 2 teams, name each team.
- T monitors, praises the winning team.
III. New lesson
4. Listen and complete
* Set the scence:
- Ask Ss to look at the chart on Page 57 
What can you see in each column ? then tell them the purpose of listening: You are going to listen to four dialogues. The speakers talk about the trips to their hometowns or villages and the means of transport to get there. You should complete the chart with rthe missing information as you listen.
*Listen and complete:
- Play the recording twice.
- 1st for Ss to listen all the way through.
- 2nd for Ss to do the task.
- Pause after each part for Ss to have time to complete.
- Replay the recording.
- Get Ss to correct their answers in pairs.
- Ask some Ss to report their answers to the class.
- If there is disagreement on any answer, play the related part of the recording again.
- Give the right answers to the class.

- Ask a few Ss how they come to their answers if possible.
5. Fun time: "To my hometown" song
Stick the large- sized sheet of paper with the song on the board.
- Read the lyrics and check Ss’ comprehension. Get Ss to repeat each line of the song.
- Play the recording twice: once for Ss to listen all the way through and once for them to repeat. Pause after each line for Ss to repeat a few times.
- Play the recording again for Ss to sing along.
- Ask Ss to sing along again and do the actions.

V. Homework: practice singing the song at home
