-Introduce the topic of the lesson to the students.

Activity 1
*Help the students to review the forms of passive voice in present simple, past simple, future simple and present perfect quickly.
*Guide the students review how to make compound words.
 -Ask the students to find the compound words in the dialogue.
*Help the students to study how to change a direct speech into a reported speech.
-Explain the form.
- Give some examples.
Activity 2
1.- Let the students read the sentences a –f.
-Ask them to complete the sentences use the passive form of the verbs in the box.
-Encourage the students to compare their answers with the other.
-Call some students to read the answers.
-Correct the mistakes.
2.-let the students read the conversation carefully.
-Explain some words if necessary.
-Let the students fill in the blanks with the suitable words
-Ask the students to read the dialogue in pairs.
-Help the students to correct their mistakes by themselves.

3.-Let the students read the examples carefully and comment about the structures. (how to make compound words.)
-Ask them to read definitions carefully.
Ask the students some questions to make sure they understand the contents.
-Let the students write the sentences containing compound words.
-Call some students to read or write their answers on the board.
-Help the students to review the structures of compound words.
4.-Guide the students study the reported speech by doing the exercises.
-Explain the requests from the task.
-Ask the students to do in pairs.
-Call some students to check.
-Correct the mistakes if any.

 I. Grammar.
1. Passive voice:
Present simple: S + is / are / am + P_II ....
- Past simple : S + was / were + P_II ....
- Future simple: S + will + be + P_II ...
- Present perfect : S + have / has + been + P_II 
2. Compound words:
* N + V-ing + N
- Ex: fire making contest, rice cooking contest.
3. Reported speech:
*Statements: Back one tense.
- Present simple -> Past simple.
- Present progressive -> Past progressive.
- Some words are changed: this -> that, now -> then, ...
Ex: - “ I am a plumber” He said.
-> He said that he was a plumber.
