I. OBJECTIVES:
Teaching aims: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: 
- Make arrangements with “Will” and talk about future plans.
- Understand the use of the future simple tense.
- Review the way to invite someone and respond to invitation.
- Develop listening skill. 
II. PREPARATIONS: Textbook, cassette tape.

1. Warm - up (5’)
- Eliciting questions
 1. Have you ever talked with someone on the phone?
 2. Do you know the question asking for telephone numbers? 
- Answer the questions. 
2. Presentation (12’)
+ Activity 1:
- Set the scene
- Have Ss read the dialogue between Phong and Tam and then answer the questions/21
1. Phong and Tam will meet tomorrow
2. They will see a movie 
3. They’ll meet in front of the movie theater 
4. They’ll meet at 6.45 
+ Activity 2:
- Base on the answers to explain the structures
* Simple future tense
+ Form: S + Will/shall + infinitive (+)
 Will/shall + S + infinitive (?)
 S + won’t/shan’t + infinitive (-)

+ Usage: express an action which will happen in the future 
- Notice how to talk on the phone

3. Practice (18’)
- Have students practice the dialogue 
- Ask students to answer the questions. 
- Check and correct the answers.
