P.111 - 113 I.Aims: - To help students understand the dialogue for detail about making plans for a vacation abroad. - To develop students’ skills. II. Objectives: - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to be know how to use the present continuous with “always” to give complaint. III. Ways of working: T-WC, pair work, individual work. IV. Materials: - Textbook, pictures in the textbook on page 111,cassette & tape. V. Anticipated problems: - The activity “word cue drill” may be difficult for students in class 8C. VI. Teaching steps: 1. Warm up: (1 minute) * Teacher greets and checks the students’ attendance. 2. Objectives: - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to talk about their plans for a trip abroad. III. Ways of working: T – WC, pair work, individual work. IV. Materials: Texbook V Anticipated problems: - Some students in class 8C may have difficulty in speaking in English. VI. Teaching steps: 1.Warm up: (5 minutes) * Teacher greets and checks the students’ attendance. * Revision:- Read the dialogue P 112 and answer some questions part 2/113 2. New lesson: STAGES T & SS’ ACTIVITIES THE CONTENT ON BOARD PRE SPEAKING (14 minutes) * Pre-teach vocabulary: - Teacher uses techniques to teach students new words. - Checking understanding: Slap the board * Reading: - Students read the information about the flights from Los Angeles to Boston and the advertisements about the hotels. - Teacher asks students to check their understanding: +How many flights a week can you take from Los Angeles to Boston? + Which flight can you take every day of the week? + Which hotel is cheaper? + Where can you visit? - Students make plans for their flight.
