I-Grammar:
1) Cách hỏi về hình thái bên ngoài hay diện mạo của ai đó và trả lời:
(?) What + do/does + S + look like?
(+) S + to be + adj (chỉ hình dáng hay diện mạo).
*eg. 
Lan: What does your mother look like?
Hoa: She is tall and thin.
2) Cánh dùng “Enough” (đủ):
b1)Nếu Enough: là một tính từ thì nó sẽ thường đứng trước 1 danh từ:
Eg. I have enough money to buy this book.
b2) Nếu Enough là một trạng từ, thì thường đứng sau một trạng từ hay một tính từ khác.
+) S + to be + (not) + adj + enough (for somebody) + to +V_infinitive.
* This coffe is warm enough (for you) to drink.
+) S + V_(chia) +adv + enough +(for smb) + to + V_inf.
Nam ran fast enough to catch the bus.
3) Cánh dùng “be going to” (sẽ):
* S + be + going to + V_inf : 
- Được dùng để diễn tả điều gì đã được quyết định trước khi nói:
+ Lan is going to buy a lot of food.(Because she is going to have a party this evening.)
-Tiên đoán điều gì đó chắc chắn sẽ xảy ra trong tương lai vì có dấu hiệu hay chứng cứ ở hiện tại.
+ Lan is studying very hard. She is going to pass the exams.
-Sự kiện xảy ra trong tương lai gần.
+ We are going to have a test tomorrow.
4) Cánh dùng một số cụm từ khác:
(to) take up: Chiếm, thu hút
(to) be/get tired of = (to) get fed up with... : chán
(to) be/get tired from...: mệt mỏi vì
(to) have to + V_inf: phải làm gì
(to) agree to something: đồng ý về điều gì
(to) agree with something: phù hợp với...
The climate doesn’t agree with my health. (Khí hậu không phù hợp với sức khoẻ của tôi).
(to) agree with someone on
something: đồng ý với ai về vấn đề gì
(to) come up with...: tìm thấy
Neither ........nor: không ..... cũng không
(được dùng khi muốn nói đến điều gì đó mà ở cả hai vế cùng một từ loại nhưng khi chia động từ theo chủ ngữ thì nhất thiết phải chia theo chủ ngữ sau “nor”)
*My sister is neither fat nor thin.

- (to) be in use: (to) be used: được dùng, được sử dụng
*The first telephone was in use in 1877.
- (to) pick up someone/somebody: đón ai (bằng xe)

a) Lan is young. She can’t see the horror (kinh dị) film.
b)My brother is short. He can’t reach the top shelf.
c)Chi is unwell. She can’t go on the picnic with her classmates.
d)The water here is unsafe(không an toàn). We can’t drink.
e)The room is large. It can hold 80 people.
f)My grandfather’s eyes are good. He can read the small print without glasses.
g)My son is young. He can’t ride a bicycle.
