I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to know how to pronounce the sound /iə/, /eə/ and /uə/ correctly, revise the use of "should" and conditional sentence type 2
II.TEACHING AIDS: textbook, pictures, handout.

I. WARM UP Pictures
- T shows the pictures and asks ss to give the name of each and write on the board
- T underlines the vowel- sounds to help ss recognize the sounds
 Beer /iə/ chair /eə/ poor /uə/
- T introduce 3 sounds
- T introduces to the lesson.
II. PRESENTATION 
Activities 1 Pronunciation
- T gives some words have the sound /ei/, /ai/, and /oi/ and asks ss to read out loud in class

- T asks ss to practice the sentences in the textbook at home
Activities 2 SHOULD/ SHOULDN’T 
- T shows the picture and situation and asks these questions.
They shouldn’t play game too much

“ it’s very low”
à“you should find out a new job”
- T helps ss to review the form and use SHOULD/ SHOULDN’T and write them on the board
- T asks ss to do the exercise 1

“ it’s very low”
“you should find out a new job”
à If you got a new job, you could get more money
- T introduces the grammar.
- T asks ss to do the exercise 2
1. If I were offered the job, I think I  it. (take)
2. I’m sure Amy will lend you the money, I’d be very surprised if she  (refuse)
3. If I sold my car, I .. much money for it. (not/get)
4. A lot of people would be out of work if the factory .(close down)

- T asks ss to work individually to choose the answers, then compare their answers with a friend.
- T calls on some ss to read out loud the answers
- T gives feedbacks and correct answers

Do the exercise 3 on page 81 textbook

- Practice reading the words
- Follow the T’s instruction
- Retell the form and use of SHOULD
- Take notes on the notebook.
* Form: 
S + should + Vo (nên làm)
S + should n’t+ Vo (không nên làm)
Should + S + Vo?
* Usage: “SHOULD” dùng để diễn tả lời khuyên (advice) 
How to give advice: 
- I think + S + should + Vo.
I don’t think + S should + Vo
= I think + S + shouldn’t + Vo
- Work individually to choose the answers
- Work in pairs to compare the answers 
- Read the answers in front of class
