	- Vocab: ordinal numbers (the dates of months), the twelve months of a year
 - Sentence patterns: What is the date today?.
 It’s the sixth of October.

- Let Ss chant: What do you do on? 
2. Presentation (12’) 
- Hang the picture on the board, let sts talk about the picture

- Teach the new vocabulary: Birthday, January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December

 	 By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to listen and wtite about dates. Then can sing the song: What is the date today?
	- Vocab: (review) ordinal numbers (the dates of months), the twelve months of a year
 - Sentence patterns: (review) What is the date today?.

1. Warm up (5’)
- Show sts how to play:
( Key: January, February, December)
- Divide the class into groups of 8 sts. Each group is given a card with one word written on it. The 1st of group keeps the card and says the word to the second; the 2nd says it to the 3rd , and so on. The last one has go to the board and write the word on it. The group that finishes the task first will win.
2. Pre- speaking (7’) 
- Ask Ss to look the picture on page 25 to describe the pictures
- Guide the Ss how to listen about the date and tick to the picture is told in each sentence a, b or c.
- Ask Ss to share the answers
- Ask some Ss to give the result and the others to remark and comment.
