Activity 1: Present new vocabulary.
- T uses TPR ( total physical response method) to present the commands.
Ex: make a mess ( chỉ vào card vừa ra lệnh vừa thực hiện theo lệnh )
- T commands Ss do
- T guides Ss to read and repeat
- T asks Ss repeat and do as the commands
+ T introduces negative commands
- T asks Ss repeat and do as the commands
Activity 2: Present the commands:
- T devides class in to two groups to practice
- T : ( ra lệnh cho nhóm A) make a mess
- T : ( ra lẹnh cho nhóm B ) don’t make a mess.
- T asks one student to command other do.
Activity 3:
- T asks Ss to open their book
- T opens the tape
I/ Present the commands:
make a mess: (v) làm lộn xộn
clean up: (v) dọn dẹp
watch TV: (v) xem ti vi
play the piano: (v) đánh đàn piano
- read and repeat
- repeat and do as the commands
+ Negative commands:
Don’t = Do not
Don’t watch tv = Do not watch tv

- Practice in groups
- G1: Make a mess ( repeat and do as command )
- G2: Don’t make a mess ( repeat and do as command )
III/ Open the book:
- Ss look at the book, command and do as the commands
- Liten and point to the picture
- Listen and repeat
4/ Other activities:
Game: charades: ( đố chữ ) chia đội dùng phiếu 69 -> 72 để luyện. Học sinh thực hiện lệnh, không nói thực hiện đúng được 1 điểm.
