Give one of the activities you like to do in your spare time
Watching television is one of the activities I like to do in my spare time. I enjoy watching cartoons on Saturday mornings and sports programs on Sunday afternoons. I also watch television during the week after I have finished all my school work. At night, I especially like to watch movies and situation comedies. If I have a lot of homework, I try to arrange my schedule so that I can watch at least one of my favorite shows. Watching television is not the only activity that I do in my spare time. My other favorite activities are making paper flowers and going shopping with my friends. However, when I have spare time, I spend more time watching television than any other activities. Watching television can help me not only relax but also build me a huge knowledge of the open world.”
My Hobby
                 My hobby is reading interesting and knowledgeable books in my free time. I always read story books, news paper, magazines, the English essay and any other material that I find interesting. Whenever I go to home from workplace I very like to read such books. Now I know very well that reading is very good habit which can make me a complete. This hobby can be developed by anyone however I got this naturally. Reading books keep one always happy and busy. It is the good source of enjoyment, knowledge, inspiration and instruction. It makes us disciplined, loyal, punctual and most importantly a successful person in the life.
                    Sở thích của tôi là đọc những quyển sách thú vị và sách về kiến thức vào thời gian rảnh. Tôi thường đọc những cuốn truyện, báo, tạp chí, những bài luận tiếng Anh và tất cả thể loại mà tôi thấy thích thú. Bất cứ khi nào tôi từ nơi làm việc về nhà tôi rất thích đọc những cuốn sách. Giờ thì tôi hiểu rất rõ rằng đọc một thói quen tốt nó sẽ giúp bạn hoàn thiện. Sở thích này có thể phát triển trong bất cứ ai tuy nhiên tôi có được nó rất tự nhiên. Đọc sách khiến 1 người hạnh phúc và bận rộn. Nó là cội nguồn của niềm vui, sự hiểu biết, tinh thần và hướng dẫn. Nó khiến chúng ta kỷ luật, trung thành, đúng giờ và quan trọng nhất là trở thành 1 người thành công trong cuộc sống.
                    Through books reading nobody can feel alone and disturb. It enables me to gain all the general knowledge about any topic I think this habit is more precious than gold or other precious stones of the world. It provides us high level of knowledge, noble thoughts and ideas to work in many fields. Good and interesting books are like best friends of the one who like to read. The one who do not have this habit may possess worldly wealth but he/she would always be poor because of the lack of wealth of true knowledge.
                        Qua việc đọc sách không ai còn cảm thấy cô độc và phiền hà. Nó khiến tôi có khả năng mở rộng tất cả những hiểu biết của bản thân về bất cứ chủ đề nào. Tôi nghĩ thói quen này còn quý hơn vàng hay quý hơn cả đá quý trên thế giới. Nó đem tới cho chúng ta những tầm cao của tri thức, tư tưởng cao quý và những ý tưởng trong công việc ở nhiều lĩnh vực. Những cuốn sách hay và thú vị như những người bạn thân của những người đọc chúng. Người không có thói quen này có thể chiếm hữu của cải của thế giới nhưng anh/chị ấy sẽ luôn nghèo khó bởi thiếu đi sự giàu có thực sự trong tri thức.

I really want to tell you about my friend, one of my best friend is Tuan. We were  classmate during our five years at  Da Nang University of Technology. He was a good student of my class. He has black hair and bright eyes and is very good – looking. Tuan and I had many things in common, especially, our hobbies. We both like traveling, billiard, table tennis, reading book and singing.
He has a kind heart and is easy to get on with everybody. The deeper our mutual understanding becomes the more we feel closely attached to each other. We are the best pupils in our class. Tuan is always at the top. He is good at every subject, but he never shows pride in his abilities and always tries to learn harder.
Tuan’s family is not rich. His parents are farmers. He often spends most of his free time doing useful things to help his parents. I like Tuan very much because of his honesty and straight forwardness. He is always ready to help his weak friends in their study; as a result, lots of friends, thanks to his whole-hearted help, have become good ones.

MY HOBBY IS MUSIC
Hobby is one of the most important things we should have in our lives. It is something that you enjoy doing, something that brings relief of the daily grind and allows you to relax. Of all hobbies in the world, I like music the most. For me, music is the best hobby ever. You should look around and you can see that music is everywhere.

I enjoy music and I listen it every single day. There are a lot of different styles of music for you to choose and enjoy. If I am in good mood, I prefer to listen some energy rock music that keep me happy and full of power. If I am tired, I chose some calm, relaxing songs. Music can speak, through music people can express feelings and emotions. When you hear something that looks like you, that you understand it easily, you start to love it. There are several different ways to enjoy music as your hobby. When you discover an artist or musician that you satisfies, it’s clear that you want to collect all of their works. Not only listening to music, a music collection is a great hobby to have, too. 
(Tôi thích âm nhạc và tôi nghe nó hằng ngày. Có rất nhiều phong cách âm nhạc cho bạn chọn lựa và tận hưởng. Nếu tôi có tâm trạng tốt, tôi sẽ thích nghe thứ nhạc rock đầy năng lượng giúp tôi tiếp tục vui vẻ và đầy năng lượng. Nếu tôi mệt mỏi, tôi sẽ chọn những bài nhạc yên bình, thư giãn hơn. Âm nhạc có tiếng nói, thông qua âm nhạc con người có thể thể hiện tâm trạng và cảm xúc. Khi bạn nghe điều gì đó tương tự như bạn, bạn sẽ hiểu nó dễ dàng và bạn sẽ bắt đầu yêu thích nó. Music is a hobby that has no boundaries. It makes the world smaller. Without music, life would be a mistake.
