Mục đích cuối cùng của việc học ngoại ngữ là giao tiếp. Vì vậy, khi học 1 ngoại ngữ học sinh phải hết sức coi trọng việc học từ vựng. Không có từ vựng thì không có ngôn ngữ. Học sinh học thuôc lòng phần từ vựng qua mỗi bài học. Từ vựng có thể được học qua các bài đối thoại, các bài đọc hay mẫu câu. Phải luyện tập từ vựng qua nhiều hình thức. Luỵên tập từ kết hợp với luyện tập các mẫu câu và các cấu trúc. Ở lớp phải tích cực thực hành luyện nói theo cặp, theo nhóm để phát huy khả năng giao tiếp.

Tranh thủ luyện nghe thêm ở nhà: có thể mua thêm một số tài liệu tự nghe hiểu ở nhà. Làm đầy đủ các bài tập tương ứng với mỗi bài học trong sách bài tập.

What is the opposite of city ? Students will stay ‘ the country’ . Let them brainstorm the words they know about the country, introduce and practice pronuncing new vocabulary: store, lake , paddy field, river.
Reading:
Ask students to read about Chi on P.77. Give them 2 minutes to read silently. Then give them these statements . If they think the statement is true, they should raise two fingers. If it’s false, they should raise a fist.
