 - At the end of the sentence or after subject and verb.
 - Emphasize S, O. It is an Object: a part of the sentense.

 - Form: - self / - selves.
 Myself, yourself, himself, herself, 
 itself, ourselves, yourselves, themsselves.
 Ex: Complete the sentenses, using the reflexive pronouns:

Lesson 2: SPEAK
I- The aims of the leson:To revise some vocabulary and present some new.
 - Main teaching points: Practice talking about the position of thing, using
 prepositions of place.
 * Skills: - Main skill: Speaking.
 - Other skills: Listening, reading & writing.
II- The objective of the lesson:
 - At the end of the lesson, ss are able to use the prepositions of place to talk 
 about the positions of furniture in the home.
III- Teaching aids: Pictures.
IV- Procedures: 
 1. Check up (5’) 
 - Write the sentences using the modal verbs: ought to, have to.
 2. Warm up (2’) * KIM’S GAME 
 - Divide the class into 2 teams.
 - Show the picture of a kitchen (p.28) to Ss
 - Ask them to look at the things in the 
 picture for 30 seconds).
 -Take away the picture and ask Ss to write
 down as many things as they can remember.
 The team having more things wins the game.

 * Set the scene: Mrs Vui bought new furniture for her living room,
 but she can’t decide where to put it. You should

 Eg. Let’s put the clock on the wall, between the shelf & the picture.

 6. Post speaking (10’) 
 - Ss are asked to free talk about the picture (poster ) that ss all
 ready agreed with the arrangement of things.
 - Ss write a paragraph to describe Mrs Vui’s living room in their
 notebooks. 
 7. Homework assignment (2’)
 - Learn by heart the words. - Do the Ex II in the workbooks.

 * Tape Transcript: Lan: Can I help you cook dinner, Mom?
 Mrs Tu: Sure. You can cook “Special Chinese Fried Rice” for me. Use
 the big pan, please.
 Lan: Okay. How much oil do I put in? 
 Mrs Tu: Just a little. Wait until it’s hot and then fry the garlic& the green 
 Lan: Do I put the ham and the peas in now? peppers.
 Mrs Tu:Yes. And you can put the rice and a teaspoon of salt in.
 Lan: Yummy! It smells delicious. 
 6. Post - listening (10’) 
 *Write the instructions how to cook fried rice. Ss work in groups
 + Heat the pan.
 + Put a little of oil in the pan.
 +Wait until it’s hot and then fry the garlic& the green peppers
 + Put the ham and the peas in.
 + Put the rice and a teaspoon of salt in.

 Hoa is very sad becausse she failed her E. test.

 d- Where is the wardrope? It is beside the window & opposite the desk.
 * Grammar: The uses and forms?

 Eg: There is a refrigerator in the corner of my kitchen.

 5. While writing (11’) Ask Ss to describe Hoa,s kitchen, using the given cues . 
 - Ss work in groups of six. 
 Key: This is Hoa’s kitchen.
 There is a refrigerator in the right corner of the room. 
 Next to the refrigerator are the stove and oven. 
 On the other side of the oven, there is a sink and next to the sink is a towel rack. 
 The disrack is / stands on the counter, on the right of the window and beneath the shelves. 
 On the shelves and on the counter beneath the window, there are jars of sugar, flour and tea. 
 In the middle of the kitchen, there are a table and four chairs. 
 The lighting fixture is above the table, and directly beneath thelighting fixture is a vase of flowers.
 6. Post reading (10’) 
 * Correction: Ss hang their group board on the board.
 Other students remark and mark.
 T corrects the mistakes from students’ writings if neccessary.
 *Ask ss to talk to their parteners about their room / living room/ kitchen.

I- The aims of the lesson: To help ss with the further practice in Reflexive 
 Pronouns: Must/ have to; ought to; Why? – Because.
 * Vocabulary: Revise some verbs of housework.
 * Grammar: Reflexive Pronouns ; Why – because. 
 * Skills: Main skill: Speaking.
 Other skills: Reading, listening & writing.	
II- The objective of the lesson:
 - By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to use The modals: Must / have to; ought to;
