1/ Warm-up: (7’)
- Have Ss choose 3 ways to answer the question.
How do you learn English?
- Work in group of three or four.
2/ Pre-listening: (10’)
- Set the scene:Nga is talking to Kate about her studying English.
- Give Ss some statements, and have Ss predict which sentence is true and which sentence is false.
Nga’s sudying English for her work.
Kate works for a national bank in Ha Noi.
Her listening is excellent.
She wants to understand the words of her favorite English songs.
- Listen the teacher’s intruction.
- Predict the statements.
3.While-listening: (18’)

- Have Ss listen to the tape and check their prediction. (3 times)
