I. STRUCTURES:
1. -ed and -ing participates:
-Present participle: V-ing (Hiện tại phân từ)
V - ing
 Form : 
 Use: A present participle can be used as an adjective to modify a noun with active meaning. (Hiện tại phân từ có thể được sử dụng như một tính từ bổ nghĩa cho danh từ mang nghĩa chủ động)
Ex: The boy reading a book is Nam.
-Past participle: V(ed/3)
 V(ed/3) 
 Form : 
 Use : A past participle can be used as an adjective to modify a noun with passive meaning. (Quá khứ phân từ có thể được sử dụng như một tính từ bổ nghĩa cho danh từ mang nghĩa bị động)
Ex: The radio made in japan is 50 dollars.
2. Requests with: Would you mind...?
Ex1: 	- Do you mind closing the door?
	- Would you mind opening the window?
Form:
Do/ Would you mind + V-ing?
Use: dùng để yêu cầu, nhờ ai đó làm giúp mình việc gì.
Ex2: 	- Do you mind if I take a photo?
	- Would you mind if I took a photo?
* Reply: (Trả lời)
 Agreement: (Đồng ý)
 	- No, I don’t mind.
 	- No, of course not.
 	- Not at all. 
 Disagreement: (Không đồng ý)
 	- I’m sorry, I can’t.
 	- I’m sorry, that is not possible.
Form:
Would you mind if + V(2/ed) . . . ?
Do you mind if I + V(inf). . . . ?
Use: dùng để xin phép khi chúng ta muốn làm việc gì một cách lịch sự.

 Agreement: (Đồng ý)
 	- Please do.
 	- Please go ahead.
 Disagreement: (Không đồng ý)
 	- I’d prefer you didn’t.
 	- I’d rather you didn’t.

Ex. 1: Look at the people in the schoolyard al Quang Trung School. Say who each person is.
(Em hãy nhìn mọi người trong sân trường Quang Trung rồi nói xem ngưòi đó là ai. Dùng "V-ing participle")
Ex. 2: Look at this stall. Describe the goods for sale. Use the past participles of the verbs in the box.
(Em hãy nhìn quầy hàng và mô tả hàng hoá được bày bán. Sử dụng phân từ quá khứ của động từ trong khung. Dùng "V-ed/3 participle")
Ex. 3: Work with a partner. Use these words to make and respond to requests. A check (S) means agree to the request a cross (X) means do not agree to the request.
(Hãy làm việc cùng bạn bên cạnh, sử dụng những từ này để yêu cầu và đáp lại lòi yêu cầu. Dấu (S) có nghĩa là đồng ý, còn dấu (X) có nghĩa là không đồng ý với lời yêu cầu. Dùng "Would you mind + V-ing")
Ex. 4: Work with a partner. Look at the pictures. Ask questions and give suitable responses. The information on page 100 may help you.

Read the text carefully:
 Last week, while on vacation in Dalat, the Browns had quite an adventure. One afternoon, they decided to paddle around Xuan Huong Lake in a canoe. After hiring the canoe, the family climbed in and paddled out to the middle of the lake. Unfortunately, dark clouds soon appeared and it began to rain. The wind started to blow and the rain become heavier, the canoe moved up and down the water. Shannon dropped her paddle, she leaned over and tried to pick it up. The canoe overturned and everyone fell into the deep and dangerous water.A boat appeared and rescued them, the family was very lucky.
