I. AIM : Help students describe someone and complete the dialogue by listening

 CONTENTS
- Ss practice the dialogue then answer some questions.
-T sets the scene: In daily life, we always have to communicate with other people. So it is very important to know the adjectives and structures describing a person’s appearance. we will deal with this matter. Then lets Ss play a game
- Ss play a game Networks: Write as many descriptive adjectives as possible.
- T gives the new words and model sentences.
- Ss take note and practice vocabulary. They do rub out and remember in order to check their vocab..
- T revises some ways of introduction by asking some questions:
1. What do you say if you want to meet someone?
2. What will you say when you are introduced to someone?
3. What will you say when you introduce someone?
- Ss answer T’s questions and give the expressions if possible. 
- After that T introduces: We are going to listen to 4 dialogues illustrating different situations. Each dialogue has some missing information. You’ll listen to the tape and complete the dialogue.
 - Ss predict what can be filled for each blank before listening.
- Ss practice the dialogue in pairs. 
- Some pairs practice in front of class.
- T corrects their pronunciation.
- Then, each student takes turn to describe each picture, the other tries to guess who he/she is.
- Some pairs practice in front of class.
- T corrects their pronunciation.
- Ss listen twice then fill in the blanks. They compare with what they have filled and their friends.
- Ss listen the 3rd time then T gives feedback.
- One student describes one of his classmates. The other guesses who he / she is.
- Some pairs practice in front of class.
- T corrects their pronunciation if possible and marks when they do well.
- Ss make up new dialogues, introducing someone to another.
- Some pairs practice in front of the class.
- T corrects their pronunciation if possible and marks when they do well.
- T guides her Ss to do homework.

III. WHILE-SPEAKING AND LISTENING:
1. SPEAK:
a. Read the dialogue
Hoa: This person is short and thin. She has long blond hair.
Lan: Is this Mary?
Hoa: Yes.
b. Make similar dialogues. 
a. A: This person is tall and thin. He has short black hair.
 B: Is that Van?
 A: Yes.
b. A: This person is fat and short. He has bald hair.
 B: Is that Mr. Lai?
 A: Yes.

Listen and complete the conversations. Use the expressions in the box
