- develop reading skill through reading for detail information.
- ask and answer about the content of someone’s describing character.

I. Check old lesson.
	Sts do ex 4 (p.8)
	Answer : 1 – who	2 – what
	 3 – good-looking	4 – dark

III. New lesson
1. Warm up:
sets answer questions :
- Do you usually help other people?
- `` `` always go to the library?
- `` `` often smile?
- `` `` tell funny?- Lead to new lesson.
2. Before - Reading.
- Today we’ll learn and find about character of other.
- T reads one time and introduces some new words.
	‘character (n) : tính cách	reserved(a) :dè dặt
	kind (a) : tốt bụng	sense of humor (n): hài hước
	‘sociable (a) : gần gũi, hoà đồng	humorous (a) : hài hước
	‘orphanage (n) : trại mồ côi	volunteer (a) : tình nguyện
* Review structure:
	 Simple present tense. - T tells sts : you are going to read the text about Ba’s friends each one has his own character, you scan reading.
 3. While-Reading
 - Sts read again and read quickly ex 1 in the text book.
 - Sts work individually.
 - exchange the answers.
 - check the answers: a. – A	; b – C	; c – B	; d - D
 4. After- Reading.
 - ask Sts to look at the ex 2 in the text book.
 - Sts read quickly question.
 - work individually.
 - exchange the answers.
 - check the answers.
	a. Ba feels lucky to have a lot of friends.
	b. Bao is the most sociable.
	c. Khai likes reading.
d. A bad thing about Ba’s jokes is sometimes his jokes annoy his friends.
e. Bao spends his free time doing volunteer work at local orphanage.

	Writing skill.

	Matching meanings of new words.

1. Warm up:
Call some partners to stand up, ask and answer:

- How old are you?
- Where do you live?
- Lead to new lesson.
2. Before writing.
- ask Sts to look at the Tam’s personal card, Sts read it and answer:
	What information is there on the card?
- Sts answer.
- T explains Tam’s personal card.

 - Sts read paragraph again and answer questions in ex 2 in the textbook.
 - Sts work in pairs.

 	Retell how to write a paragraph about someone.
