Ask Sts to read the passage by some pairs

 - Sts do not look at the text book and remember to give ways to learn vocabulary and Sts can give own ways to learn.

 - Sts answer questions:

+ Do some learners make a list and put into it the meanings of new words in their mother tongue?

+ Do some learners write each word and its use on a small piece of paper?

+ What do they usually do when they want to learn?

Lesson 2: SPEAK + LISTEN
A. Aims:
	After the lesson, Sts will be able to:
+ Develop speaking + listening skills.
+ Use the questions to ask and answer about studies.
+ Complete the report card.
B. Language Contents. 
	1. Vocabulary: civic education, technology, days present, participation, comment, behavior, cooperation…………..
	2. Grammar: Review commands, requests and advice in reported speech.
C. Teaching aids: 
	Sub board, pictures, handout…
D. Teaching methods:
	Speaking + listening skills.
E. Procedures:
I. Class organization: Greeting- Who is absent today? Sts’ answer.
II. Check old lesson.
- Ask sts to do ex 1 p42 
Ex:
a. I have Geography one time a week
b. I have Physical Education 2 times a week

- Correct and get mark.
1. Warm up:
Ask sts to tell your subject’s names in a week. Today we learn about the content of schedule of difficult subjects in a week.
2. Speaking.
a, Before Speaking.
- Ask sts to look at the exercise 1 in the textbook. Sts read quickly.
- T notes some grammars and difficult words.

+Go to English club: tham gia CLB T.A
	+ Speak to foreigner: nói chuyện với người nước ngoài
Review commands, requests and advice in reported speech.

	 Sts give some example. T corrects if have any mistakes.

 - Sts read questions and clue words.
 - Sts work individually.
 - T gives feedback and corrects.

	b, While - Listening. 
* Let students listen to the tape twice and fill in the report and then compare with their early guess.
 - Hang the report card on the board and explains the information.

2. Before Reading.
- Sts listen to the tape and read in silence. 
- T introduces some words: 
	Revision (n): sự ôn lại

 - Rub out and check sts’ understanding.

	Ex: there are also different ways of learning the same number of words.
 3. While-Reading. 
 - Sts read again 
 - Ask Sts to look at the ex 2 in the text book and answer questions

	c. To remember words better, learners write examples, put the words and 
	 their meaning on stickers, underline or highlight them.
d. They may think they can not do so. Instead, they learn only important 
	 words.

	f. Learner should try different ways of learning words to find out what is 
	 the best.
