 They are grocery tore, stadium, swimming pool, wet market

Today we will revise the names of places in the neighborhood and learn the present perfect tense.

2. Presentation.

a. Present the dialogue.

- T plays tape 2 times

 - Sts read after T.

 - Sts practice in pairs.

b. Present new words.

* present the new words by using pictures.

 Neighborhood (n): explain

Wet market (n): chợ hải sản

 Delicious (a): ngon

 Area (n): khu vực

 Pancake (n): bột mì

Lesson 1. Getting Started + Listen and Read
A. Aims: After the lesson sts will be able to: 
- know some words relating to compare between things or people.
- understand the dialogue and do the exercises that follow.
- ask and answer about the content of this lesson from using vocabulary, grammar in the lesson.
B. Language Contents:
	1. Vocabulary: wet market, area, serve……..
	2. Grammar: - The present perfect tense with since and for.
	 - Review: The simple present tense - review
C. Teaching Aids: 
	Sub board, pictures, handout, work sheets, tape, and cassette.

	Listening + reading skill and communication.

	Form : S + Ved + O/ Adv and S + Will + V-infi + O
	Meaning : Thì hiện tại đơn và Thì tương lai đơn.
 3b. Practice.
	Ex: We have been here since last week.
	 We have lived here for about 10 years.
	Form: S + have/ has + PII + since/ for + O
	Meaning: thì hiện tại hoàn thành.
	Use: diễn tả hành động xảy ra ở trong quá khứ, mà kết quả còn tiếp tục ở 
	 hiện tại hoặc tương lai.
	- since : dùng diễn tả mốc thời gian
	- for : dùng diễn tả khoảng thời gian
 4. Consolidation.
 	 Content of the leson:
 - The present perfect tense with since and for.
	- The simple present tense - review
 5. Homework. 
	Do ex 1 (p61)

A. Aims: After the lesson,, Sts will be able to: 
- Say where and how to send letter, parcel or postcard.
- Develop speaking skill.
B. Language Contents:
1. Vocabulary: parcel, airmail,	 surface mail, charge, weight, item.
2. Grammar: Review: The simple present tense 
C. Teaching Aids: 
	Sub board, pictures, handout, work sheets….
D. Teaching Methods:
	Speaking skill.
E. Procedures :
I. Class organization : number sts in the class.
II. Check old lesson.
- Ask Sts to change the verbs into PII.

III. New lesson 
1.Warm up:
Ask sts to answer .
	Have you ever sent a letter or parcel?
	Have you ever gone to the post office?

Today we learn about how to post some packages, mails... in the post office.
2. Before- Speaking.
- ask Sts to look at the picture.
	Where are they? -> They are at the post office.
	What are they doing? -> The woman is sending a parcel
	Do you usually send letter or parcel?
- Present new words: 
	Parcel (n) : bưu phẩm, bưu kiện
 	Airmail (n) : thư ( gửi = đường hàng không )
	Surface mail (n) : thư (gửi = đường bộ )
	Charge ( n) : cước phí
	Weight (n) : cân nặng
	Item (n) : vật phẩm
- Read and repeat
 - Check: rub out and remember
 * Grammar.
 	Ex: How much is airmail?
	 I’ll have to weight the parcel first.
	- Present simple tense: S + V(s, es) + O
	- Future simple tense: S + will + V_infi + O
 3. While-Speaking
 - Sts read the dialogue again and look at the exercise 2 + brochure in the text book.
 - Sts make a dialogue the same dialogue in part 1 and use information 
 in ex 2 .
 - Sts work in pairs.
 - T gives feed and corrects.
 	A. Good morning. What can I do for you? 
	B. I want to send this postcard to HCM city.
	A. Do you want to send it airmail or surface mail?
	B. I don’t know. How much is surface mail?
	A. It’s 800dong
	B. What about airmail?
	A. Airmail is a quite expensive but it is cheaper. It’s 1200dong
	B. That is fine. I’ll send it airmail.
	A. All right. 
 4. After- Speaking
 - Ask Sts to make similar dialogues with other in the box.
 5. Consolidation.
 	Situation in the post office and some words
 6. Home work.
Make the same the dialogue in the lesson about others.
