1.The simple past tense :
Be : S + was / were
Verbs : S + V – ed 
 S + V 2
Ex : She ( be ) …was… at home last night.
They ( visit ) …visited to Nha Trang last vacation. .
Negative form :
Be : S + was / were + not 
Verbs : S + did + not + V 
Ex : Lan (not be ) was not at home yesterday evening.
 My father ( not go )did not go to work last week 
Interrogative :
Be : was / were + S ?
Verbs : Did + S + V ? 
Ex : …were…..you ( be )……. at home yesterday ?
