-Call some students to read the dialogue.
-Introduce the contents of the lesson to the students.( Now we are going to read Ba’s dairy then know more about the Robinson in Viet Nam.)

Presentation.
-Presentation the new words to the students.
-Ask the students to find out the words.
-Write on the board.
-Explain the meaning.
Students listen and repeat in chorus.

*Help the students to review the past simple tense.
-Ask the students to show the verbs in the Simple Past tense.
-Retell how to use the simple past tenses.
Consolidate the formation of the simple past tense
-Give some examples to the students.
Practice.
-Help the students to develop reading skill.
-Let the students read the sentences a) – g).
-Ask the students to read Ba’s diary then check the sentences a) – g)
-Ask the students to read the text, and correct the sentences.
-Call some students to check.( read aloud)
-Give the correct answer.

-Explain the meaning( if any)
*Remember.
*Help the students to review how to use the verbs in the past simple tense.
-Ask the students to study the regular and irregular verbs in the past simple tense.
-Ask the students to look at the table at the page of 177 in the book to search the irregular verbs.
-Ask the students to find the sentence containing the V_ed in the text.(Ba’s diary)

-Explain the request from the students.

Help the students to consolidate the formation of the simple past tense.
