-Ask the students to skim then find the words.
-Students read in choral & individual repetition.
-Explain the meaning.

*Help the students to review the past simple tense.
-Ask the students to retell the past simple tense.

-Let the students predict the content of the passage.
-Ask the students to listen then read the sentences carefully and find the answers. 
 +Write the answers on the board. 
 Students work in pairs to compare with the other.
-Corrects the mistakes if any.
-Students listen & copy down.

-Explain the requests from the students.
- Show the picture to students and lets them tell the story of Liz’s trip.

-Let the students listen to the content of the passage.
-Students listen after read then choose the letter of the sentences.
-Ask the students to listen to the passage again and check their prediction.
-Check their mistakes, then correct.
-Write the sentences on the board.

The Robinsons had a great holiday in Nha Trang. Unfortunately, the holiday soon ended and it was the time to return home. They took a bus back to Hanoi. Liz was excited as the bus drove through the countryside. She saw the ride paddies for the first time. Everything looked calm and peaceful. At four o’clock, the bus stopped at a small roadside restaurant for 10 minutes. Mr. Robinson was asleep, so Mrs. Robinson bought some peanuts and an ice cream for Liz. The bus arrived in Hanoi at about 7 pm.
