Objectives

-Introduce the topic of the lesson to the students.( Now we are going to study about Nha Trang.)

Presentation.
-Help the students to study some new words.
+Ask the students to skim in the text.
+Read the words.
+Explain the meaning.
+Students listen then repeat in chorus.
+Call some student to read.
-Help the students to learn the new grammar structure : 
The simple past tense 
- Give example 
- What is the difference ?
- Notice the changes 
- What about the ordinary verb ?
- Look at the book page 177 to see some irregular verbs 
Practice
* Set the scene : Liz is talking to Ba about her recent vacation in Nha Trang. 
-Ask the students some questions about Nha Trang:
+What are there in Nha Trang ?
+Do you like going to Nha Trang on your vacation?
-Play tape and Ask the students to listen to the dialogue then find the places where Liz’s family went to.
-Let the students listen one time.
-Listen again then repeat in chorus.
Check the places where Liz went to or did.
-Call some students to read in pairs. 
-Correct their pronunciation.
-Ask the student to find the sentences in the past simple tense.
-Ask the students to read the sentences below.
-Ask the students to read the dialogue again then number the sentences in the correct order.
-Call some students to check the answers.
-Correct the mistakes if any.
