I. OBJECTIVES:
Educational aims: Be interested in others, love school, family, house where they study and live
Teaching aims: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- Greet people and identify one self.
	- Give different greetings to people of different age.
- Develop their listening skill.
II. PREPARATIONS: pictures, textbook, wall charts, cassette.
III. PROCEDURES:

1. Pre - listening (7’)
- Have Ss look at 4 pictures and Ask some questions:
1. Who are they in this picture?
2. Where are they?
3. What are they doing?
- Look at the pictures and answer the questions

c) Mr Tan and Ba
d) Miss Lien and Mr Tan
2. While – listening (15’)
- Have Ss listen to the tape, write the letters of the dialogues in the order you hear
- Listen again and check
- Get feedback
- Listen and write the letters

3. Post - listening (20’)
- Explain some new greeting expressions : 
(How is everything? /Just fine /Not bad /pretty good ) 
- Play the cassette. Have Ss listen one by one and check the correct answer 
- Ask Ss to practice the dialogue
