UNIT 9 THE BODY
Lesson 1 : A(1-2) Parts of the body
Objectives.
-At the end of the lesson, students can:
+Talk about parts of the body.
-Content.
+ Vocabulary
head, arm, chest, leg, shoulder, hand, finger, foot, toe.
+ Grammar
Convert singular-plural: a shoulder - two shoulders, a foot - two feet.
What is that? - That's his head.
What are those? – Those are his shoulders.
 -Skill: 
Read, speak

- How are you?
- How many students are there in your class?
Checking the old lesson.(3’)
 (-Optional)
-Introduce the topic of the lesson to the students using the pictures.(Now we are going to study about the body.)
New lesson.(35’)
Presentation.
-Introduces the parts of the body using pictures:
-Use “this is…., those are …..” in order to introduce the words to the students.
-Students observer and take note.
-Teacher writes the words on the board.(using projector)
-Students write them into the note book.
-Teacher reads.
-Students repeat (choral, individual)
-Uses technique “Matching” to check the students. 
*Pay their attention to forms of singular-plural nouns.
Practice
A1-Ask the students to practice in pairs using real people or picture to describe the parts of body.
- Play the audio-CD.
-Students listen and repeat.
- Ask some students to read aloud.
-Attention to pronunciation of Foot/Feet.
