Lesson 1 A (1- 3) what are you doing?
Objective.
-At the end of the lesson, students can:
+Describe some activities going on.
+Answer questions about these activities.
 -Content:
+ Vocabulary
Words about transportation: ride (her bike), drive (His) car, and wait for a train.
Two rules Verb_ing structure: play - playing and ride, have, drive - riding, having driving.
+ Grammar
Describes an activity that is happening:

They are waiting ...

What is he doing?
* Present ongoing claims in question and the question "what ... doing?

-What is the weather like?
-How many students are there in our class?
Checking the old lesson.(3’)

-Introduce the topic of the lesson to the students.( Now we are going practice describing some activities going on. ) 
New lesson.(35’)
Presentation.
-Asks the students to look at the picture then introduces some phrase words:
+Students listen and observe
+Teacher reads
+Students repeat (choral, individual)
+Play the Audio-CD.
+Introduce structures.(Present progressive) in brief.
+Give some examples.
+Explain the meaning, using, spelling..
+Students write them into the note book. 
Practice.
-Let the students look at the pictures then explain what the things happening.
-Let the students listen to the dialogue.
-Students listen then repeat in chorus.
-Teacher play role as the character then students read the description.
A2- Let the students look at the questions then repeat after the teacher.
-Ask the students to look at one or two examples then say:
+What is he doing?
+He is playing video games.
+What is she doing?
+She is riding her bike.
-Call some good students do as examples.
-Guide the students practice in pairs, in turns.
-Call some students to check.
A3- Explain how to make sentences in brief, pay their attentions to change subject.
-Help the students to know then meaning of the verbs in the pictures.
-Let the students look at the pictures then find the answers for the questions in the book.
-Let the students ask then answer in pairs, in turns.
Consolidation.
-Correct the mistakes if any.
-Write the answer on the notice books.
