a. Pre-listening: Prediction

- Ask S.s to look at the pictures on P.12 (T.B) carefully and talk about the content of pictures.

- Ask S.s to predict the pictures which are true and then checking on them.

b. While-listening:

- Vocabularies about work: from, America, England, Singapore, Vietnam.
- Grammar: Asking for and answering about where you are from.
	S.1: Where are you from?
	S.2: I'm from [Vietnam].
C. Skills: Listening, speaking, reading and writing.
II. Preparations:
	A. Teacher: poster.
	B. Students: Textbook, notebook, pen.

	A. Warm up: Brainstorming

1. Presentation:
a. Pre-teach vocab:
- from /from/ (Prep): từ(đâu đến)
- America /ә'merikә/ (N): nước Mĩ
- England /'iŋglәnd/ (N): nước Anh
- Singapore /siŋә'po:r/ (N): nước Singapore
- Vietnam /vjetna:m/ (N): nước Việt Nam
* Checking vocab: R.O.R
- Have S.s repeat and rub out the English words(one at a time), leave the Vietnamese translations.
-When all the English words are rubbed out,
go through the Vietnamese list, and get the S.s to call out the English words.
- Get S.s to take notes.
b. Presentation dialogue: A.1- P.10- TB
- Ask S.s to look at the picture and the dialogue on P.10(T.B) carefully.
- Ask S.s to listen to the dialogue carefully and then repeating it in chorus (3 times).
- Give out the M.S to ask for and answer about where you are from on the board and explain the meaning of them carefully.
* Model Sentences:
 S.1: Where are you from?
 S.2: I'm from [Vietnam].
- Read the M.S as a model.
- Ask S.s to repeat the M.S on chorus.
- Call on some S.s to read the M.S aloud in front of the class.
- Correct and give feedback.
- Ask S.s to read the dialogue in pairs.
- Call on some pairs to read the dialogue aloud in front of the class.

2. Practice: A.2 - P.11 - TB
- Ask S.s to look at the picture and countries on P.11(T.B) carefully.
- Ask S.s to reread the M.S in pairs.
- Ask S.s to play the roles of Peter, Li Li, Linda and Nam to ask for and answer about where you are from.
- Call on some S.s to play the roles to talk aloud in front of the class.
- Correct S.s' mistakes if necessary.
