A. Object: By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to: 
- Review the phonics, vocabulary and sentence patterns from units 11 - 16.
B. Language focus
- Review.
C. Resources:
Books, teachers’ book, notebooks, cards and cassette.
D. Procedure:
I. Warm up.
- Review the model sentences from unit 6 to unit 10.
- Lead in the new lesson.	
II. New lesson
1. Read and listen to the story.Thenfill the gaps
- Set the scene.
- Play the tape for sts to listen and read.
- Help sts get the idea of the story, simply let them read and listen to this episodes, the initial task will be more challenging.
- Let sts fill the gaps in pairs.
- Monitor the activity.
- Call on sts to report.
- Give feedback.
Key: 1.works 2.plays 3.taller 4.do 5.beach
2. Number the sentences.
- Run through.
- Ask sts to read the story in the book and number the sentences.
- Ask sts to work in pairs to do the exercise then practice in pairs in front of the whole class. The rest listen to and give the remark. 
- Make a few questions to check sts’ comprehension of the story
Key: 1,6,3,2,8,7,4,5.
3. Work in pairs. Complete the conversationwith information about you.
- Tell the class that they are going to practise using their own names.
- Ask groups of people to sit face to face and practise the dialogue.
- Call on some pair to report.
- Give feedback.

4. Find words in the story to complete the sentences.
- Run through.
- Give instruction.
- Let sts read the sentences individually and do the task. 
- Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary.
- Pair works. Have sts trade their answers for correction.
- Call on some sts to report their answers. The rest of the class listen give comments.
- Give feedback
- Have the whole class read each sentence in chorus to reinforce their pronunciation.

- Make and respond to suggestions to go somewhere.
B. Language focus:
+ Vocabulary: bakery, pharmacy, medicine, supermarket, sweet shop.
+ Sentence pattern: Let’s go to the bookshop. I want to buy some books.

C. Resources: Book, CD-player.
D. Procedure.
I .Warm-up:
* Game: Up – down – left – right.
- Lead in the new lesson.
II. New lesson:
1. Look, listen and repeat:
 - Run through and set the scene.
- Give instruction.
- Play the recording all the way through.
- Replay the recording for sts listen and repeat.
- Divide class into 2 groups to play roles and ask them to take turns.
- Ask sts to do further practice in small groups.
- Check to make sure that sts can repeat and understand the dialogues.

2. Point and say.
- Teach some words: bakery, pharmacy, medicine, supermarket, sweet shop.
- Set the sence.
- Tell sts that they are going to pratise making and responding to suggestions to go somewhere using: Let’s go to the bookshop. I want to buy some books.

- Have them to look at pictures to understand how the language is used.
- Point to picture a and have sts repeat the date under the picture.
- Make model with sts.
- Ask sts to work in pairs with the pictures then practise freely.
- Move around to offer help.
- Call on some pairs to perform the task.
- Give feedback.
