I. Warm up:
- Ask sts sing the song: What time is it?
- Give feedback.
- Lead in the new lesson.
II. New lesson.
1. Look, listen and repeat
- Set the scene.
- Give instruction.
- Play the recording all the way through.
- Replay the recording for sts listen and repeat.
- Divide class into 2 groups and ask them to play roles.
- Ask sts to do further practice in pairs.
- Check to make sure that sts can repeat and understand the dialogues.
2. Practice.
- Teach some new words:
+ Get up: thức dậy
+ Have breakfast: ăn sáng
+ Have dinner: ăn tối
+ Go to bed: đi ngủ
- Set the scene for sts to elicit the pattern:

Point and say - Ask sts to look at the pictures a, b, c and d. - Run through some words: swimming, cooking, colecting stamps, playing chess. - Use handmade puppets to teach: What time is it? Listen and draw the time. - Ask sts to turn to page 9 and look at part 4 - Let sts describe the pictures. - Give instruction. - Ask sts to do the task individually. - Move around to offer helps if necessary. - Ask sts to exchange their answers with their partners. - Call on some sts to report the answers. - Give feedback and check sts to understand the text.
