C. Resources: Book, CD-player.

D. Procedure:

I .Warm-up :

Game: Slap the board (using some newwords from the last lesson.)

- Lead in the new lesson.

Lesson 1: Part 1, 2
A. Object: By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to:
- Use the words and phrases related to the topic Classroom activities.
- Ask and answer questions about what someone is doing.
B. Language focus:
- Vocabulary: Watching a video, writing a dictation, reading a text.
- Sentence patterns: What is he/ she doing?
He’s/ She’s..
C. Resources: Book, CD-player.
D. Procedures:
I .Warm-up :
- Check the old lesson.
- Give feedback.
- Lead in the new lesson.
II. New lesson
1. Look, listen and repeat.
- Run through and set the sense.
- Give instruction.
- Play the recording all the way through.
- Replay the recording for sts listen and repeat.
- Divide class into 4 groups to read the dialogue and ask them to play roles.
- Ask sts to do further practice in groups of 4.
- Check to make sure that sts can repeat and understand the dialogues.
2. Point and say
- Ask sts to look at the pictures a, b, c and d.
- Run through some words: Watching a video, writing a dictation, reading a text.
- Use handmade puppets to teach: What is he/ she doing?
 He’s/ She’s..
- Model the structure: T-sts; sts-T; S1-S2 
- Have sts to look at the pictures and do the task in pairs then practise freely.
- Move around to offer help.
- Call on some pairs to perform the task.
III. Reinforcement:
- Call sts to tell about their friend’s activities with their friends.
- Comment.

- Develop listening and writing skill.
B. Language focus:
- Vocabulary: Watching a video, writing a dictation, reading a text.
- Sentence patterns: What is he/ she doing?
He’s/ She’s..
C. Resources: Book, CD-player.
D. Procedures:
I .Warm-up.
* Chatting: Ask sts to ask and answer questions about their hobbies.
- Give feedback.
- Lead in the new lesson.
II. New lesson.
1. Listen and tick:
- Run through and set the scene.
- Ask sts to look at the pictures and guess what are they saying.
- Give instruction.
- Play the recording for sts to listen through.
- Play the recording again for sts to listen and tick the correct pictures.
- Replay for sts to check their answers.
- Ask sts to trade the answer.
- Call on some sts to report.
- Give feedback.

2. Look and write.
- Have sts look at the picures on page 59.
- Ask sts what they have to do in this task.
- Ask them to discuss and complete the blanks.
- Call someone to write on the board.
- Check and correct mistakes.

III. Reinforcement:

D. Procedure:
I .Warm-up :
- Check the old lesson.
- Lead in the new lesson.
II. New Lesson:
1. Look, listen and repeat
- Ask sts to look at the pictures then run through and set the scene.
- Give instruction.
- Open the cassette all the way through.
- Ask sts to listen again and repeat the dialogue.
- Divide the class into 2 groups and ask them to play a role.
- Have sts to do further practice in pairs.
- Give feedback.
- Provide some new words for sts to make a sense of the dialogue: making, a paper boat.
- Elicit the sentence pattern from sts:+ What are they doing?They’re painting masks.
- Give examples.
2. Practice
- Introduce some newwords:
+ Painting masks: vẽ mặt nạ.
+ Making a pupet: làm con rối. (pictures)
+ Making paper planes: làm máy bay giấy.
- Ask sts to turn to part 2 and look at the pictures.
- Run through then give instruction.
- Make model the pattern: T – St; St – T; S1 – S2.
- Let sts practise in pairs with the given information, then practise freely themselves
- Move around to offer help.
- Call on some pairs to report.
- Comment.

- Give feedback.

- Play the recording all the way through for sts to listen.
- Replay for sts to listen and tick.
- Play once more times for sts to check their answers.
- Ask sts to compare with their partners.
- Call on some sts to report.
- Give feedback.

- Ask sts to look at the table and tell what are they going to do.
- Give instruction.
- Remind sts to write the initial letter of the word of the days in capital letters.
- Allow sts time to do the task independently.

- Read the lyrics of the song: What are they doing?
