WRITING
Class description: 30 students in grade 10 at Xuan Hoa high school.
II. Time: 45 minutes
III. Objectives:
After the lesson, students (Ss) will be able to get the following points. 
Knowledge: 
General knowledge: by the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
Get the reasons why Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex was recognized as a world heritage site.
Language: by the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
Remember and use new words and phrases related to the topic world heritage sites and grammar structures for writing an essay.
Skills: by the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:

+ Develop ability to think in a logical way to form a well-structured text.

+ understand about heritage sites of our country and respect to them.
+ Be aware of the responsibility to protect and develop them.

Task 3: Use the information and completed outline in 2 to write your essay about Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex.

Brainstorming ( 3 min)
Ask Ss to look at task 2 again and work in 3 groups to discuss how many paragraphs we should write in body paragraph of an essay in this topic in 1 min 
Call each group to give their ideas
Show Ss suggestion how many paragraphs we should write in body paragraph of an essay in this topic
Writing ( 15 min)
Ask Ss to read aloud requirement of task 3 and translate into Vietnamese
Ask Ss to work in 3 groups in 10 min, each group complete the writing about:
Group 1: cultural value
Group 2: natural beauty and geological value
Group 3: preservation of heritage
Let them work in group and exchange their ideas to complete the tasks and write down on the paper given.
Go around and help if necessary.
Ask each group to hang their paper on the board and other groups give comments (content, structure, spelling.)
Correct mistakes and give feedback.
Show an sample essay and ask Ss to look at it to understand clearly how an essay should be written
