III. WHILE YOU LISTEN:
Conducts the situation :
You are going to listen to a short talk by a student about his picnic with classmates. You listen to the tape and do the tasks followed.
1. Task 1 - Pictures Ordering
- Asks Ss to work in pairs and study the pictures carefuly, then answer the questions.
+ What can you see in this picture?
It is beautiful (glorious) sight
+Where are they?
They are on the bus
+What are they doing?
They are taking photographs
+What are they doing?
They are eating
+Where are they?
They are at the school gate
+ What are they doing?
They are singing, playing the guitar
- Makes sure Ss have ideas about the pictures and they can tell the differences among them.
- Has Ss listen to the tape and number the pictures in the order they hear. Let Ss do the task in pairs.
- Plays the tape more than once if necessary.
- Calls on some Ss to explain their answers in front of the class.
- Feedback and give correct answers:

WARM-UP: Game: The Big Wheel - Gives SS some questions related to topic: A picnic - Introduces the Instructions: + Ss will answer the questions in turn + If correct press the Spin wheel button to get the number of points. + The Ss who gets the highest point will be the winner. II/ BEFORE YOU LISTEN Vocabulary pre-teach: - Gives some pictures and explains the meaning of some newwords * Listen & repeat - glorious (a) - spacious (a) - destination (n) - tour (n) - delicious (a) - Botanical Garden - Reads the newwords aloud. - Calls on some Ss read infront of class. Work in group and discuss to answer the question. Write down on thier notebook - glorious (a): beautiful, shining - spacious (a): large, have a lot of space - destination (n): a place to which a person is going to - a tour(n) = a trip - delicious (a): tasty - Botanic Garden (n): (translation) Listen and repeat Read in front of class 10’ 8’ 10' III.
