 - To help Ss aware of sharing household chores.

I. Warm up: (5ms)
- Asks Ss if they often do housework and what housework each member of their family does. 
- Asks them to look at the picture and guess what they show.
- Asks Ss about the picture:
E.g. – Who are the people in the picture?
 - What are they doing?
 Lead in 
“ Today, we’re going to discuss about household chores sharing.”
New lesson 
Pre- teaching vocabulary: (10ms)
 Elicits the words by explanation, elicitation, synonyms.
1.1 Vocabulary:
+household chores (np): công việc nhà
+ house finances (np): tài chính gia đình
+ laundry (n): việc giặt quần/áo
+ wasing-up (np): việc rửa bát
+ grocery (n): hàng tạp hóa
+ be responsible for (adj): chịu trách nhiệm về.
1.2 Checking vocabulary: ROR
- Rubs out the first word and asks Ss to read the whole list of words again. 
- Continues with the next word and repeat until no word is left on the board.
- Asks Ss to write the words again on the board.
- Check and has Ss practice reading words once more time.
Activities (19ms)
Activity 1
- Plays the recording. Asks Ss to listen and read along silently.
- Has Ss practice the conversation in pairs.
- Calls on one representative to practice.
Activity 2
- Asks Ss to work in pairs to decide whether the statements are true (T), false (F), or not given (NG). Have Ss refer back to the conversation to give reasons for their answers. 
- Goes around and supervises.
- Has Ss check answers, and give explanations.
Activity 3
Plays the recording and asks Ss to listen and repeat the words/phrases
Consolidation (10ms)
Activity 1
Tells Ss to refer back to the conversation to find the verbs/ verb phrases that go with the words/phrases in the conversation.
Has Ss exchange the answers with their partners
Checks orally and gives feedback.
Activity 2
Asks Ss to pay attention to words that are often used together (collocations) then asks them to give some examples about themselves.
Calls on some representatives to present.

Homework (1m)
- Ask Ss to learn by heart new words and prepare the next part: Language.
- Listen and answer
- Answer the question
- Look at the picture and answer the questions
They are a family.
The father is vacuuming the floor. The mother is cooking. The son is washing dishes and the daughter is doing the laundry.
Guess the words in Vietnamese meaning.
Listen and repeat the new words.
- Memorize the spelling of new words as much as possible.
- Re-write the words correctly on the board.
- Practise reading them aloud
Listen to the recording and read the conversation silently.
Act the conversation with the partner.
Work in pairs and complete the task.
Write the answers on the board and give the explanation.
