In today’s wearing, we will learn more about the brief history of jeans and its conveniences. - Ask some questions: * Pre-teach vocabulary. E.g: (Show the table). T: “This table is made of wood. Wood is the material of the table”. -“Sailor works in a ship” * Vocabulary game: What and where - Listen to the Teacher. -Answer the questions: -Students young man -The jean cloth was made from... -Jeans appeared for the first time in ... -Listen to the Teacher, read and write down. -Play a game -Who love wearing Jeans very much? - What was the jean cloth made from? - Do you know when jeans appeared for the first time? The word jean comes from a kind of material that was made in Europe. 2. The 1960s’ fashions were embroidered jeans, painted jeans and so on 3.Because jeans became cheaper 4. Jeans at last became high fashion clothing in the 1980s 5. The sale of jeans stopped growing because the worldwide economic situation got worse in the 1990s 4. Do you think jeans are in fashion now? -Ask Ss to give their opinion in front of the class. -Discuss -Give their opinion in front of the class. *Suggested answer: -I like wearing jeans very much because the jean cloth is very strong. Wearing jeans, I feel pleasingly tidy -I love wearing many styles of jeans: embroidered jeans, painted jean or plain jeans. I think jeans have never been out of fashion................. 5.
