- Get Ss to look at the pictures on page 26,27 and answer: 
What did they do?(picture 1)
Where were they? (picture 2)
- Ask Ss to discuss on these pictures.

-Discuss on these pictures.
*Suggested answers:
-Picture 2: They put down the blankets and laid out the food.
-Picture 3: They played the 
game “ what song is it ?” and blind man’s buff. They went fishing
-Picture 4: They gathered things and ran to the bus stop.

	It was a beautiful day, my friends and I decided to go on a picnic. We took a bus to the countryside and then walked about 20 minutes to the picnic site next to the river. we put down the blankets and laid out the food. After meal we played the games “ What song is it?” and blind man’s buff. Late in the afternoon we went fishing. We enjoyed our picnic. When we looked at the time, it was nearly 6.30 pm. We hurriedly gathered our things and ran to the bus stop. We were lucky to catch the last bus and we arrived home very late in the evening.

- Ask some questions. 
1) How did they get to the countryside?
2) What did they do after meal?
3) Did they enjoy their picnic?

5. Homework.
- Leant by heart some new words.
- Write the passage in the notebook.

Ask Ss to repeat the structure “wish”

- Call on some Ss to give the answers. 
 - Give feedback.

-Set the scene: “Look at Mr. Thanh’s itinerary for his 
business trip to Singapore. Complete the sentences. Use the prepositions in the box”.
