-Give some questions about the body of the letter :
- Have you ever visited any other places in Vietnam?
- When did you go?
- How did you get there?
- Did you visit any places of interest?
- Did you buy anything?
- When you are away from home, do you keep in touch? How?
-Read the request and ask Ss to translate it into VietNamese.
- Imagine you are visiting your relatives or friends in another part of Vietnam or different country.
Call Ss to read the questions in the outline. Hang the extra board with the questions on it

Objectives : After finishing the lesson students( Sts) will be able to write a personal letter to tell about the trip to a part of VietNam. Language contents: Structures: The Past simple S + V2 / V_ed +O Vocabulary : Revision Techniques: Network Teaching aids: pictures of activities in class-text book. Times: 45 ms Procedures: Teacher’s activities Students’s activities Daklak HCM Ha noi NhaTrang Warm up: Ask Ss to write some places of interest they know such as Nha Trang ,HaNoi,DAKLAK ,HCM Pre-writing: -Give some questions about the body of the letter : - Have you ever visited any other places in Vietnam? - When did you go? - How did you get there? - Did you visit any places of interest? - Did you buy anything? - When you are away from home, do you keep in touch? How? -Read the request and ask Ss to translate it into VietNamese. - Imagine you are visiting your relatives or friends in another part of Vietnam or different country. Closing. .While – Writing: - Ask Ss to look at the outline on Page 11 and ask them what part of the letter they are going to write (body of the letter) - Ask Ss to follow the outline to write their own letter. Ask Ss to write the letter individually Call Ss to exchange the letter and correct and compare Give the suggested ideas Suggested Ideas: First Paragraph I arrived at Danang airport ( train /station at 2 p.m / 8 a.m on Tuesday. Hoa and Uncle Tan met me at the airport, they took me home by taxi. Second Paragraph I have visited to many places such as the beaches, the cham Museum, Supper markets . Marble Mountains, the water parks ect... I have tried different foods, seafood,.. Danang speciality.. I will visit HoiAn and MySon tomorrow / on Sunday. Third Paragraph. I feel so happy and enjoy myself very much. The people here are so nice and friendly, the food is so delicious and the sights are so beautiful. I will leave Danang at 2 a.m next Thursday and will arrive home at 11 p.m . please pick me up at the bus station. -Ask two or three students to tell the class about their visit. - Ask Sts to work in pairs to talk to each other about their visit. Post- Writing - Reminds Ss about the format of a personal letter by asking the questions. - Ask Ss to write a letter to their family, telling them about their visit to BanMeThuot city. -Elicit some places of interest in BanMeThuot:Draysap waterfall, BanMeThuot’s prison, YokDonPark, ChugiangSin mountains , Lak lake , Can wine,coffe flour - Choose some letters to correct in class. Homework: Ask Ss to write other letter and prepare the Part LANGUAGE FOCUS Write on BB in two groups Uncle Ho’s Mouseleum Cham’s temples Lak lake Dam sen Interest park Look at the questions and answer. Listen to the request and translate it into Vietnamese -Read the questions in the out line -Work in group to answer these questions. -Remember the parts of a friendly letter. -Read the format -Look at the outline on page of 11 and answer -Read the outline and write the letter individually -Exchange the letter and compare -Write the letter on BB -Correct -Look at the suggested ideas and draw the mistakes . -Some good letters are present in front of classroom . -Work in pairs to talk about the letter . -Listen to the teacher. -Listen the task from the teacher. -Give the places of interest in -BanMeThuot -Some Ss present -Copy the task and remember to do .
