 B:What for ?

 A:It’s necessary because the water pipes may be damaged by the typhoon .

3,A:I think we should tie the roof to the ground with pegs and ropes.

 B: Just in case big trees may fall down

because there must be strong wind blowing.

* Contents: + Vocabulary: block the rollers, a zone, potted plants, a container…
 + Grammar: Relative pronouns: Who, that, which…
* Skills: 
+ Check (v) what preparations should be made for a typhoon.
+ Talk about what they think they want to buy and do to prepare for a typhoon.
+ Know how to use relative pronouns and do the exercise.

- Brainstorming:
- Have Ss think about what they do to prepare for a typhoon?
- Ss go to the board and write down.
- Introduce new lesson.
III/ New lesson: (35’)
A. SPEAK
1. Pre- speaking:
- Read the text one time, ask Ss to find out new words.
- Explain the meaning of these words.
- Guide Ss to read it in chorus.
-Ask Ss repeat how to use must, may
- Ask Ss to read the request of speaking lesson
2. While- speaking:
- Ask Ss to work in pairs , study the list and check what preparation should be made for a typhoon .
- Let them compare for the choice with another pairs .
- Call on some Ss to explain their answers
Discussion:
- Ss continue working in pairs but with another partner.
- Ss may use agreeing and disagreeing structures that they have learned.
- Call on some pairs to practice in front of class.
- Correct and give the best answers
3. Post-speaking: 
- Guide Ss to play T/ F Repetition drill 
- Whole class: say 5 or 7 statements about what we should do or shouldn’t do to prepare for a typhoon if the statements are T or F.

- Ask Ss to use their knowledge to answer the questions by using relative pronouns.
