GETTING STARTED + LISTEN AND READ
A. Objectives: 
* At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to know about what causes the environmental pollution and how to protect our environment.
* Contents :
+ Vocabulary: Garbage dump, deforestation, dynamite fishing, spraying…
+ Grammar: Conditional sentences type 1
* Skills: 
	+ Listen and read the text then match A with B and answer the questions.
	+ Talk about how to protect the environment.

1. Presentation:
- Brainstorming.
- Ask Ss to think of the environment problems in the city.
- Get Ss to go to the board and write down their ideas.(Throw rubbish/garbage/trash in the strees, Smoke from cars,motorbikes, Smoke from factories, Cut down trees, Leave the lights on when unnecessary)
- Let Ss look at the pictures and match the words provided.
- Call Ss to give the answer.
- Check and correct.
- Read the text then get Ss to give out new words.
- Write them on the board and give the situations & meaning of the words.
- Read them first then get Ss to read after 3 times.
- Call Ss to read in front of the class.
- Remark then get Ss to read them after again one more time.
- Ask Ss to repeat the form of this tense.
- Then Ask Ss to make the example.
- Check and correct.
- Explain the rom Adj + that…
- Ask Ss to repeat the Adj and Adv.
- Make some examples.
- Check and correct.
- Guide Ss know how to use As/ since/ because.
2. Practice:
- Ask Ss to do exercise: Match A & B. 
- Ss work in pairs.
- Present new structure 
- Ss listen and write them 
- Ss read scan question from 1 to 5.
- Ask Ss to read the text again and work in pairs, answer the questions.
- Call some pairs to practice.
- Correct their mistakes.
3. Production:
- Let Ss work groups of three or four and discuss questions 6 &7 in the book.
