- Call Ss. to speak out the advantages of the Internet
- Remark. 
- Give the situations of the lesson.
III. New lesson: (35’)
1. Pre- writing: 
- Itroduce the request of writing lesson by ask questions:
1. Do you like using the Internet?
2. How much time do you spend surfing the web a day?
- Ask Ss to read the forum on the Internet in reading text again.
- Give the out-line of a passage with the main necessary information and get Ss. to base on them to using connect words:
(and – but …) to write a passage.
- Guide the way to beginning a passage.
2. While- writing:
- Ask Ss to write a paragraph themselves to express their ideas about the benefits of the Internet
- Let them exchange the writing to the other
- Call some Ss to read their writing
- Give remark and correct
3. Post- writing:
- Repeat the way to write a passage about the media especially about the Internet.
- The main contents of the lesson.

The Internet has widely developed recently. It has three main benifits.
Firstly, the Internet is a very fast and convenient way to get information. It’s a very updated source of information: You can get the latest local or global news; you can check weather conditions before you go camping, fishing,…; you can find a timetable and maps of trains or buses you want to take; you book your tickets for the next concert, soccer match, hotel, …
Secondly, the Internet is a diversified source of entertainment: you can listen to music, to the radio, watch videos, play games, read novels, do virtual sightseeing,… . It’s also a very cheap way to communicate with your friends or relatives by means of e-mail, chatting, webcam,
Finally, the Internet is really a rich source of educational materials and courses: you can learn English, look up new words in a dictionary, take a training course, ….
Therefore, we are now used to being the Internet in our life.
