A. Objectives:
* At the end of the lesson, Ss can:
 + Know how to present one side of an argument. It is used to persuade readers to believe or do something and give the ideas.
 + Write an argument to give their own opinion about the problem Students should or shouldn’t wear uniform when go to school
* Contents: + Vocabulary: therefore, in conclusion, firstly, secondly,…
 + Grammar: Review: Present Simple.
* Skills: + Know the form of an argument.
 + Write an argument about something.
B. Teaching aids: 
 Sub-board.

I. Organization: (1’)
- Greeting. 
- Checking the attendance.
II. Checking the old lesson: (4’)
- Call Ss to answer the question 
- Remark.
- Ask Ss to remind some way to give one’s opinion (I think.../I don’t think.../My opinion is...)
III. New lesson: (35’)
1. Pre-writing:
- Give new words on the board then give meaning also the situations to use them.
- Read them first then get Ss to read after 3 times.
- Call Ss to read.
- Remark then get Ss to read them after again.
2. While- writing:
Hang on the sub-board
- Present the form of an argument
- Give the situations of the lesson when you want to make up a passage with 3 steps: 1st + 2nd + 3rd 
- Remark.
- Ask Ss to read the outline A and the passage in which expressing the agreements about secondary school Ss should wear uniform
- Ask Ss to remark the language in which paragraph
- Ask Ss to read the outline B
- Guide Ss the way to write a short topic about the wearing casual clothes.
- Ask Ss to discuss and work in-group.
3. Post- writing:
- Call groups to give their ideas about it.
 - Remark.
IV. Feedback: (3’)
- Repeat the main contents of the lesson.
V. Homework: (1’)
- Write the writing in their notebook.
- Do exercise: 4 (page: 15)
- Prepare: Language focus.

I think secondary school Ss should wear casual clothes.
Firstly, casual clothes make Ss feel comfortable.
Secondly, wearing casual clothes gives Ss freedom of choice.
They have rights to choose sizes, colors, and fashion of clothes that they love.
Thirdly, casual cloyhes make Ss feel self-confident when they are in their favorite clothes.
Finally, casual clothes make school (Student) more colorful and lively.
Iconclusion, secondary school students should wear casual clothes. Wearing casual clothes is convinient, comfortable and fun.
