- Check and correct

A. Listen
1. Pre- listening: 
- Read the table then give out the new words 
- Give meaning of the words.
- Guide Ss read the new words.
- Ask Ss to read the information in the table and answer the question:
+ Do you know when the telegraph was invented?
+ What two new forms of news media appeared in early 20th centery? 
2. While- listening:
- Explain the request.
- Ask Ss to read the table carefully.
- Guide Ss which information they need listen.
- Ss listen the tape 2 or 3 times.
- Ss compare their answers with partners.
- Use the Sub-board then call Ss to look at it then give out their ideas.
 - Call Ss to come to the board and fill into the blanks to complete the table.
- Remark then get Ss to listen again then check down together.
- Give the right answers.
3. Post- listening:
- Hang the other Sub-board and get Ss to read the sentences carefully and check T / F.
- Call Ss to write on it.
- Remark & guide Ss to check down.
- Repeat the main contents of the lesson.
