A. Objectives:
* At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
 + Listen the description about the village and complete the information into the map
 + Realize their basical mistakes. They can do the same exercises at home
* Contents: + Vocabulary: route, pond, parking lot, pick … up, drop off ….
 + Grammar: Past simple tense.
* Skills: + Listen and read the text then check T/ F sentences and answer the questions.
 + Talk about the main contents of the text.

A. Listen
1. Pre-Listening: 
- Give new words on the board then give meaning.
- Read the new words first then get Ss to read after 3 times.
- Call Ss to read.
- Remark.
2. While-Listening: 
- Explain the requests of the listening by showing on map
- Give the situations of the lesson then get Ss to match the names with the right letters.
- Let Ss see the map and work in groups to guess what places on the map are
- Call Ss to write on the board.
- Repeat the situations then guide Ss the way to catch the main information.
- Get Ss to listen to the tape 3 times carefully then tick (x) before the places follow the Ba’s trip.
- Ask Ss to exchange their answer to the partner
- Let Ss listen once more
- Call Ss to give the answer
- Check and correct
- Ask Ss to draw the table of the trip.
3. Post-Listening: 
- Get Ss to write down the places of the trip by using “Number + Letter + Direction”.
- Ask Ss to write down their notebooks
- Remark and repeat the main contents of the lesson

Audio-CD contents:
At 6.30 in the morning, the bus collected B and his family from their home. After picking every one up, he bus continued north on Highways Number 1. It crossed the Dragon Bridge and stopped at the gas station to get some more fuel. Then it left the Highways and turned left onto a smaller road westward. This road ran between green paddy fields, so the people on the bus could see a lot of cows and buffaloes. The road ended before a big store beside a pond. Instead of turning left towards a small airport, the bus went in the opposite direction. It didn’t stay on that road for very long, but turned felt onto a road which went through a small bamboo forest. Finally, the bus dropped every one off at the parking lot ten meters from a big old banyan tree. It parked the and waited for people to come back in the evening.
