Teaching aids. - Make a plan. - Prepare the book, some flashcard, a tape and a cassette player. IV. ( Home Economics: môn nữ công gia chánh) Do you like it? What do you like to do most in Home Economics? ( sew, knitting, cooking....) Greeting Answer the question: (cooking, sewing, knitting, drawing,) Yes/no. Cooking, sewing, knitting, Pre-reading Teacher introduces the new lesson: We’ll read the passage about Hoa. Teacher asks students to look at the picture about Hoa and asks some question: Who is she? What is she wearing? Can you guess Who makes it ? Read the passage and answer the questions. While-reading Teaching the new lesson. Opens the track and offers students close the book. Asks the students opening the book to read the passage quickly once and find the new words. * New words: sew (v): may vá (use flashcard) sewing machine (n): máy khâu (use flashcard) hobby (n): sở thích (example: listen to music, go fishing, play sport,) cushion (n): tấm đệm gối (use flashcard) fit- fitted (v): vừa, hợp (defination and example) useful (adj) : hữu ích (defination and example) to try on: mặc thử. (defination and example) Writes the new words on the board and explains the meanings of them. Teacher asks the students to listen and repeat the words. Teacher calls some students to read them again to check their pronunciation. Teacher asks the students to work in pair and answer the questions page 93 with the content of the passage. Teacher goes around the class to help the students to do exercise. Teacher calls some pairs asking and answering the question in front of the class. Teacher checks and gives the correct answers.
