I- Objectives: 
- Family vocabulary, possessive pronouns my, your, her, his and “who’s this/that?” questions to talk about family members.
- Developing: four skills.
II- Language content:
Grammar:
Vocabulary: family, sister, brother, people, my, your, her, his, father, mother, nurse, engineer
Structures:
+ Who’s this/that? -> This/that is 
+ How many people are there? -> There are  people.
+ He is a teacher.
 She is a teacher, too.
III- Teaching aids 
Text book, lesson plan, cassette tapes and pictures.
IV- Procedure
1. Warm up:

- Ask students to play the game “Hangman”
Play game

Presentation:
- Show them the picture of a family and tell them about the relationship in the family.
- Introduce new words on family.
- Play the cassette.
- Let SS repeat.
- Mention the liking sounds.
- Let them ask and answer to get information about other’s families.
- Have SS write the notes in their notebooks.
- Tell them about the short form of “is not = isn’t” 
Look at the pictures and listen to the teacher’s introduction.
Repeat the new words and copy the new words in the notebooks.
Ask and answer question about families with the partner.
Copy the notes and memorize.
3. Listen and repeat:
New words:
- family (n): gia đình
- sister (n): chị or em gái
- brother (n): anh or em trai
- people (n): người
- my (adj): của tôi
- your (adj): của bạn
- her (n): của cô ấy
- his (n): của anh ấy
- father (n): cha
- mother (n): mẹ

Structures:

Who’s this?
Who’s that?
-> This/that is 
He’s a teacher.
She is a teacher, too.
Practice:
- Ask some SS to talk about family due to the cues given.
- Ask them to introduce about their families. Let them practice in pairs.
- Have SS ask and answer the questions before the class.
- Give correct.
Practice individually.
Try to introduce about one’s family.
Write the answers in their exercise books.
4. Answer the questions:
a. Her name is Nga.
b. His name’s Hà.
c. That’s Ba. He is twelve.
d. This’s Lan. She’s fifteen.
e. There’re four people in the family.
5. Answer the questions:
a. My name is

c. There are  people.
Consolidation:

Presentation:
- Introduce the cardinal numbers: 1 -> 20.
- Mention the difference between “1 -> 10” and “10 -> 20” and the main stressed syllables of the numbers.
- Let SS listen to the cassette, repeat and then count by themselves.
- Give them some other special words and ask them to give the plural form.
- Let SS listen to the cassette and repeat the models.
Explain the structures and tell them about the different ways in answering.
- Listen to the teacher.
- Practice counting from 1 -> 100.
- Say the numbers as the teacher write them on the blackboard.
- Write.
- Listen and repeat the models.
- Copy the models in the notebooks.

- Ask SS to count the items in the classroom.
- Call some SS read again before the class.

- Divide the class into small groups and ask them to practice together.
- Ask them to make questions about things in the picture and people there.
