- Developing: four skills.

- Vocabulary: body, part, head, shoulder, arm, chest, hand, finger, leg, food, toe, short, thin, fat, heavy, light
III- Teaching aids:
Text book, lesson plan, cassette tapes.
IV- Procedure:
1. Warm up:

Content
- Give play games “Bingo”
- Practice.
Numbers from 1 to 100
10, 84, 52, 17, 77, 21, 8, 12
Presentation:
- Use a picture to introduce parts of the body.
- Say the new words as pointing to the picture and ask SS to repeat.
- Mention the pronunciation of the final sound and the irregular form of the word “food”.
- Have them practice these sounds.
- Look at the picture and listen to the teacher.
- Repeat the new words, pay attention to each part of the body pointed by the teacher.
- Listen to the teacher and practice as he / she asks.
- Notice the irregular form of “food” -> “feed”.
- Practice.
- Write.
1. Listen and repeat:
New word:
- body (n): cơ thể, thân thể
- head (n): đầu
- should (n): vai
- hand (n): bàn tay
- finger (n): ngón tay
- foot (n): bàn chân
- feet (n): bàn chân (số nhiều)
- toe (n): ngón chân
- leg (n): cẳng chân
- chest (n): ngực
- arm (n): cánh tay
- ankle (n): mắt cá chân
- back (n): lưng
- calf (n): bắp tay
- chesse (n): má
- chin (n): cằm
- elbow (n): khuỷ tay, cùi chỏ
Practice:
- Let them practice in pairs. Point to the pictures and ask “what’s this/ that?, what are these/those?”
- Have some pairs drill before the class.
- Have them write new words.
- Ask them to draw a body and put the words on.
- Practice. Ask as many questions as possible.
- Try to answer quickly.
- Drill before the class as the teacher asks.
- Write the new words in the notebook.
- Try to draw a body and name each part correctly.
2. Practice with a partner:
What is that?
-> That is his head.
What are those?
-> Those are his shoulders.
Consolidation:
Fluency practice. 
Homework:
- Write the lesson into notebook.
- Prepare “Unit 9. Section A: Parts of the body (3, 4, 5)” for the next time.

- Say the new words as pointing to the picture and ask SS to repeat.
- Have them write new words.
- Look at the picture and listen to the teacher.
- Repeat the new words.
- Write the new words in the notebook.
- Practice.
1. Listen and repeat:
New word:
- gymnast (n): vận động viên thể dục
- weak (adj): yếu
- strong (adj): khoẻ mạnh
- weight (adj)
- weight lifter (n): vận động viên cử tạ
- short (adj): ngắn, lùn
- thin (adj): gầy, ốm. mỏng
- fat (adj): mập. béo
- light (adj): nhẹ, nhạt, sang
- heavy (adj): nặng
Practice:
- Let SS listen to the cassette.
- Ask them to look at the pictures and listen to the teacher again.
- Let them repeat the adjectives first, then the whole sentence.
- Point to the picture and ask SS to say the whole sentences.
- Let SS listen to the cassette and choose the right picture (A4).
- Let them listen to the cassette the two paragraphs about Chi and Tuan (A5).
- Ask them to retell about Chi and Tuan.
- Listen.
- Repeat.
- Say the sentences as the teacher points to each one.
- Write.
- Try to remember the details of these two people.
- Try to retell/describe Chi and Tuan.
4. Which picture? Listen and choose the right picture:
a. She’s a short girl. She’s fat.
b. He’s a fat man. He’s tall.
c. He’s a short man. He’s fat.
d. She’s a thin woman. She’s tall.
Consolidation:
Fluency practice. 
Homework:
- Write the lesson into notebook.
- Prepare “Unit 9. Section B: Faces (1)” for the next time.

I- Objectives: 
	Competences:
- Should be taught to identify and describe facial features. SS should be taught to practice asking and answering about the body.
- Developing: four skills.
II- Language content:
Grammar: 
- Structure: review
- Vocabulary: hair, eye, nose, mouth, ear, lips, teeth, full, thin, long, over
III- Teaching aids:
Text book, lesson plan, cassette tapes.
IV- Procedure:
1. Warm up:

Content
- Ask SS to recall the parts of the body.
- Answer.
Presentation:
- Draw a face on the blackboard, point to each detail on the face and mark the name of each detail.
- Ask them to repeat the new words as pointing to the details.
- Look at the picture drawn on the board.
- Pay attention to each part of the face as the teacher introduces.
- Repeat the new words and look at the points the teacher shows.

- face (n): khuôn mặt
- hair (n): tóc
- eye (n): mắt
- ear (n): tai
- nose (n): mũi
- lips (n): môi
- mouth (n): miệng
- round (adj): tròn
- oval (adj): hình trái xoan

- long (adj): dài
Practice:
- Have some SS go to the blackboard, point to the details and say the name of each detail, then erase the words and ask some others to redo.
- Use picture to describe a face and explain the meaning of adjectives.
- Ask SS to look at their partners’ face and describe.
- Have Ss write 5 complete sentences to describe their friends.
- Go to the blackboard point to the details on the face and say the names of the details.
- Look at the pictures and listen to the teacher’s explanation.
- Notice the meanings of the adjectives.
- Practice in groups,
- Write, complete sentences to describe.
Eg:
What’s that?
-> That’s her hair.
What are those:
-> They are her eyes.
Consolidation:
Fluency practice. 
* Phần dành cho HS lớp khá giỏi:
	Introduce about your face: This is../They are .. 
Homework:
- Write the lesson into notebook.
- Prepare “Unit 9. Section B: Faces (2, 3)” for the next time.
