I. OBJECTIVES:
- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
+ Review the sentences talk about feelings and wants in periods 1,2,3,4.
+ Listen to recognize about characters in picture.
II. PREPARATIONS: Textbook, pictures, cassette.
Week : 22 Date of preparation: 06/01/2015 Period: 64 Date of teaching: 12/01/2015 UNIT 10 : STAYING HEALTHY SECTION A: HOW DO YOU FEEL? LESSON 2: A5, 6 I. OBJECTIVES: - By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: + Listen, and recognize somew feelings. + Ask and answer about wants using “want”. II. PREPARATIONS: Textbook, pictures, cassette. III. PROCEDURES: TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES 1/ Warm-up: (10’) Checking old leson - Give some pictures, then call some Ss write down the sentences. - Introduce the lesson:”We are going to listen about some feelings, and match the names with the right picture.” - Observe, and write down.. - Listen. 2/ Presentation: (7’) - Ask Ss to guess - Guess the feeling of Nhan, Ba, Phuong, Huong. 3/ Practice: (10’) - Turn on the cassetle twice. - Ask Ss to compare their answer. - Get Ss listen again to check the answer. Ba – a Nhan – f Huong – b Phuong - d - Write the sentences down. - Compare with the partner. - Listen, and check. 4/ Production: (13’) - Ask Ss to listen the dialogue between Nhan and Dung, then repeat. - Have Ss practice the dialogue with the partner. - Ask Ss to make a new dialogue using the cues in the textbook. - Remind the question “What dos she want?” - Lisetn, and repeat. - Practice in pairs. - Make a new dialogue. 5/ Homework: (2’) - Have Ss: + Review the vocabulary talk about the feelings. + Learn Structure: What’s the matter?, What do you want?, What does she want?” - Write assignments. * Consolidation: Choose the best answer: (3’) 1. OBJECTIVES: - By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: + Learn and use some vocabulary about food and drink. + Use and distinguish between countable noun “some” and uncountable noun “any” II. PREPARATIONS: Textbook, pictures, cassette. III. PROCEDURES: TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES 1/ Warm-up: (7’) Pelmanism - Divide the class into two groups and íntruct Ss to play game. meat rice vegetables milk - Introduce the lesson: “We are going to learn a lesson about “food and drink”. Before the new lesson, I would like to introduce some new words.” - Play the game. - Listen and copy down. 2/ Presentation: (13’) - Introduce new words using real objects. I. New Words: 1. Bread (n): bánh mì - Check new words: “What and Where” - Ask Ss to guess what the boys and girls would like. - Listen, repeat and Copy. - Do as directed. - Present their ideas 3/ Practice: (15’) - Ask Ss to listen to the tape B5 and check their guessing. - Have them listen once more and match the correct names - Get Ss to compare their answers. - Listen and check. - Listen and do the task.
