II. PRESENTATION

Activities 1 Pronunciation

- T gives some words have the consonance sound /t/ and /d/ and asks ss to read out loud in class

 /t/ a voiceless sound: topic, toxic, plant

 /d/ a voiced sound: depend, invader, danger

- T helps ss to distinguish these two sounds.

- T revise how to pronounce the /ed/ into /t/ and /d/

- T asks ss to practice the sentences in the textbook at home

REVISION THE 3rd CONDITIONAL SENTENCES

- T asks ss to recall conditional sentence type 1 and type 2.

- T revises the 3rd conditional sentence

- T gives ss the examples

I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to learn how to pronounce the two sound /t / and /d /, and learn the structure of the conditional sentence type 3

I. WARM UP: Listening and Writing
- T asks ss to listen and write the words they hear.
- T calls on some ss to write the answers on the board.

Damp, door, desk, dog, damage, intend, depend, cleaned, spend, lived 
- T introduce 2 sounds and leads into the lesson.

Example:
* I didn’t have money and so I didn’t buy it
à If I had had money, I would have bough it
* We didn't have the raincoats, so we got wet and cold
à If we had had rain coats, we wouldn’t have got wet and cold.
Note: 
- We can use could/might/should instead of would in main clause.
- We can also use the past perfect continuous in If - clause.

Do the exercise GRAMMAR on the hand-out
- Follow the teacher’s instructions
