I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to know about some actions to protect the oceans and talk about the protection of the oceans.

-T asks ss to work in groups of two and answer the questions

II. PRE-SPEAKING
* Pre teach vocabulary: 
- T elicits and presents new words by situation and examples , then models and writes on the board.
1. rubbish(n) rác rưởi (picture)
2. dustbin (n) thùng rác (picture)
3. species (n) các chủng loài (picture + examples)
4. dispose (v) thải ra, vứt bỏ (translation)
5. herbicide (n) thuốc trừ cỏ (picture)
6. pesticide (n) thuốc trừ sâu (picture)
- T asks ss to write on the notebooks.

* TASK 1: ORDER THE IMPORTANCE ACTIONS and SAY WHAT WE SHOULD/ SHOULDN’T DO.
- T. may give ss some suggested phrases:

- T asks ss to work in pairs, to put the actions in order of importance and talk about these actions.
- T go around to help ss if necessary
- T calls on some ss to do the task orally in front of the class
- T listens and helps ss to do the task correctly
III. WHILE- SPEAKING
