I.OBJECTIVES 
- By the end of the lesson students will be able to ask and answer about what someone likes doing
- Vocab: hobbies: swimming, cooking, collecting stamps, watching TV,... (V+ing) 
- Sentence patterns: What do you like doing? 
 I like listening to music.
- Main skills: spoken interaction, speaking
II. PREPARATION
 - Computer, projector, speakers,...

1.Warm - up (5’)
- Guide sts play
2. Presentation (10’)
-Tell pupils that they are going to learn to how to ask and answer questions about things someone likes doing. 
- Play the recording 
- Play the recording again (some times).
- Go around and help Ss
- Correct about the intonation, ....
-Ask: Which sentence does T. ask P.? Which sentence does P. answer?
3. Pratice (15’)
-Tell pupils that they are going to practice asking and answering questions about what someone likes doing, using What do you like doing? I like+verb-ing+( noun)
- Have them look at the pictures to understand how the language is used in different contexts. Help Ss if they need
- Point to the first picture and do the task with one pupil, using the expressions in the bubbles and the words under the picture. 
- Check as a class and correct pronunciation, if necessary.
4. Production (9’)
- Tell pupils that they are going to practice asking and answer questions, using What do you like doing? I like
What do you like doing?
- Go around to hlp them
- Call some pairs to report in front of the class

- Tell pupils that they are going to listen to three dialogues about hobbies and tick the correct pictures
- Have pupils look at the pictures to identify the characters’ hobbies.
- Check understanding.
3. While- listening(9’)
- Play the recording 
- Play again (3 times)
Check as a class. Ask: What can you hear in number 1/2/3?

- Tell pupils that they are going fill the gaps of the sentences relating to the characters’ hobbies.
- Go around and offer help, if necessary
- Check as a class. If there is enough time, call a few pupils to read aloud completed sentences.

- Let Ss make a tree or flowers with hobbies. Help Ss if they need 
2. Presentation (8’)
-Tell pupils that they are going to practise saying the sounds of the letters fl and pl in the words flying and playing respectively.
- Play the recording and ask pupils to repeat a few times.
 - Put the letters fl and pl in the words flying and playing and the sentences I like flying a kite, He likes playing the piano on the board.
- Play the recording a few more times and let pupils say the sentences, paying attention to the target sounds.
3. Pratice (15’)
- Tell pupils that they are going to listen to five sentences with the sounds fl and pl in the words flying and playing and circle them.
- Give pupils a few seconds 
- Check pupils’ understanding.
- Play the recording 
- Play the recording again for them to check their answers.
- Get pupils to say the sentences aloud

4. Production (11’)
- Tell pupils that they are going to say the chant Flying a little kite
- Check comprehension. 
- Play the recording a few times for pupils to do choral and individual repetition. Show them how to chant and do actions.
- Put them into groups of four. Get pairs or groups to sit opposite of each other and practice chanting and doing actions. Go around offering help, if necessary.
- Call two groups of pupils to the front of the class to chant and do actions. The rest of the class claps along to the rhythm.
